MacBook Air: Can’t see Remote Disc (DVD or CD Sharing) host computer on the network
If you do not see the host computer when using Remote Disc (DVD or CD Sharing), a firewall issue may be preventing the host computer from communicating with your MacBook Air. Alternately, you may see a message that "the original item cannot be found" when trying to access the remote disc.
