HTC Loses ITC Case Against Apple

HTC’s attempt to block shipments of Apple’s iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch into the United States failed Monday when the US International Trade Commission found that Apple didn’t infringe four HTC patents. The preliminary decision will either be confirmed or denied by the full six-member commission in February. HTC, the second-largest maker of Android devices, has another claim against Apple with the ITC still pending. Apple has already won an ITC round against HTC in a decision expected to be reviewed by early December.
