The book was initially planned to have the title iSteve: the Book of Jobs and would be for sale on November 21st. They say that Jobs had been searching for the author of his biography for quite some time before he entrusted his story to Walter Isaacson. Writer Isaacson is famous for his books about Albert Einstein, Benjamin Franklin, and Henry Kissinger.
This Steve Jobs book is 448 pages long which includes over 40 interviews of Steves family, friends, colleagues, rivals, and Jobs himself. It took about two years to conduct the interviews of at least a hundred people. This Steve Jobs biography will explain how Jobs changed the digital industry forever. Readers will see through the extraordinary life of the chairman, co-founder and CEO of Apple Inc. Jobs was quoted saying I want my kids to know me, which was one of the reasons why the book was created.
Steve Jobs willingly cooperated with Walter Isaacson on the book project, but did not want to control what was to be written on it. He did not even want to read his autobiography before the date of publishing. Sadly, the great Steve Jobs will not be able to read the books complete edition.
