Paris Museums Announces The Release Version 2.0 of Their iPhone App Paris M&M With Offline Maps

(AppleNews247.Com, November 13, 2011 ) Paris, FRANCE Two months after announcing the release of their iPhone app, Paris M&M, Paris Museums is excited to announce the release of Version 2.0, which features a powerful Offline Map. The app, which is designed to help visitors take advantage of the many cultural sites in Paris, now works completely offline so even visitors without a calling plan can use it.

Paris M&M is the first and only app that offers complete museum and current exhibition listings. Each listing is concise and includes practical information such as opening times, address, telephone number and nearest metro. One of the most useful features is search by nearest which utilizes the iPhones built-in GPS technology and works with or without an internet connection. This Paris iPhone app leaves the museums at the visitor's fingertips.

The offline map has been in our sites from the beginning of this project, since we knew many visitors come to Paris with out calling plans, says Andrew Minh, Director of Operations of Paris Museums. We have tried the app out in many user-scenarios with success, and weve been getting some excellent feedback.

A user comment on the Apple iTunes store states, I would recommend it to anyone whos going to Paris, as this app makes traveling without cellphone reception and Internet not so bad.

With the Offline Map it is the best Paris iPhone app of its kind, providing updated information useful to art and culture loving visitors to Paris.

With the launch of Version 2.0 of Paris M&M, and their equally information-packed website, Paris Museums looks forward to continue providing visitors with the resources they need to enjoy the City of Light.
