The device is an iPod touch jailbroken by redsn0w running Ios 5.0.1, although this should work on most if not all Ios 5 jailbroken devices. Here is how to do it: 1) Install HTC Weather Animated Per Page HTML, iFile, and gridlock from Cydia. 2) Decide what page you want to put the widget on. Then make sure the top three vertical rows of that page are blank using gridlock, so the widget isn't blocked out by it. 3) Go to the app Per Page, which was installed with HTC Weather Animated Per Page HTML. 4) Select HTCAniPPH, and select the page number you want it to be on. Then the device should respring. 5) When your device comes back on, you will notice that the widget is installed, but the town is wrong and the temperature is in celcius. This is when you open up iFile. 6) Direct from the home iFile page in this order: var, mobile, Library, PerPageHTML, HTCAniPPH, configureMe.js, then press edit in the upper left hand corner. To Be Warned: If you have a type of web downloading app, when you select configureMe.js, Make sure you select Text Viewer 7) Change: 5th line: var locale = "(your zip code)" // Zipcode, Postalcode, or Weathercode 7th line (if you want fahrenheit degrees): var isCelsius = false // true or false (if you want celsius, leave it) 9th line (optional): var update Interval = (insert minute frequency you want of weather updates) //Minutes Last line: var showWeatherAni = true If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, just PM me.
