This is a quick video of my 5 year old talking about his paper airplane. I created it to experiment with video journaling. I wanted to know how see how easy and effective it was with young children. The video was shot in 15 min and edited in about the same amount of time. Everything was done on my iPhone using the built in camera app and iMovie. The process could be copied with an iPod Touch. I did not obsess over the production - the process needed to be quick and simple. I also used a minimum of prompting. The paper airplane is taken from Ken Blackburn & Jeff Lammers book "The World Record Paper Airplane Book" distributed by Workman Publishing. |
