Finally, we have got what everyone has been wating for!!! This free program for Mac and PC called 'iDevice Wi-fi Hotspot Builder puts a wifi Hotspot on your iPod Touch, iPad, and iPhone that you can use anywhere within a 100 mile radius of your house computer. *NO JAILBREAK REQUIRED* Let's say you are in a car, less that 100 miles away from your house, you can use wifi on your iPod Touch, iPad, and iPhone (All Generations will work). Most important, you can choose the name of your wifi hotspot, the password on your wifi hotspot, and up to how many other wifi enabled devices that can connect to your wifi hotspot. The way this program works is once you create your wifi hotspot, the settings gets uploaded onto an online server. This server sends a wireless signal to your iPod Touch, iPad, or iPhone. Then, your iDevice will recieve that wifi signal, retrieve a code, and your iDevice will save that code. Then, that code will be able to recieve the wifi signal, and put the wifi onto your iDevice within a 100 mile range of your house router. Follow the video instructions on how to get the wifi hotspot onto your iDevice. (This was a video of the program in use on a PC, but it will still work on a Mac.)
