The new display features a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels (higher than a 1080p TV at 1920x1080). The iPad 3 also features a faster A5X processor to produce better graphics and double the memory. Mobile users will be excited to see the inclusion of 4G LTE cellular technology, which offers much faster mobile downloads. Battery life remains the same as the iPad 2: 10 hours in standard, nine with 4G enabled. Apple also added Siri, the voice-recognition technology first found on the iPhone 4S, to the iPad, allowing voice dictation of e-mails. To the naked eye, the new iPad looks just like the iPad 2. But closer examination shows it is slightly thicker, to handle a bigger battery, and the sides are slightly more tapered.
