It's slightly thicker than the iPad 2 due to its enhanced internals. Specs for the new iPad (iPad 3) include a 9.7" Retina Display with a resolution of 2048x1536, this is more pixels than a 1080p TV. It has an A5X Quad-Core graphics chip that's 4X the graphics of the NVIDIA Tegra 3, but it is still a Dual-Core CPU. The new iPad has an upgraded 5MP iSight camera on the back that features the same setup as the iPhone 4S and the ability to record 1080p video. Surprisingly, the new iPad doesn't have Siri but it does have Voice Dictation. The new iPad features 4G LTE that's capable of 73Mbps down, and will be available on Verizon, AT&T, Rogers, Bell, and Telus. The new iPad is 3G world ready and features a new personal hotspot feature. Battery life remains the same, giving you 10 hours of battery and 9 hours on 4G. Pricing also remains the same with the 16GB WiFi model starting at $499, and the 4G model at $629. The new iPad will be available March 16th, and will ship with iOS 5.1.
