Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 will be launched in June for 299 euro's. The quadrocopter has four propellors, a sort of compass, sensors that keep an eye on the ground, stability sensors and two camera's (one in the front and one on the bottom). It's controlled by using your smartphone or tablet, in this case an iPhone. Parrot will launch new software and a SDK shortly. Controlling the AR.Drone 2.0 is easy by using the touch screen and tilting the phone. The previous version of the AR Drone was positioned as a gaming tool, but according to Parrot the AR Drone 2.0 is a photo and video toy. It has two camera's -- One in the front [...] And one on the bottom. With all these camera's flying through the air you'd wonder whether is possible to spy on your sexy neighbour. |
