My iPhone 4 has been acting up the past few days; voice control keeps activating without me pressing any buttons. It automatically launches about every 5 seconds and will perform actions I do not request, such as randomly calling contacts and playing songs on my iPod. I have already turned the phone on and off, performed a master reset, and restored my phone to factory settings - all of which have no long-lasting remedial effects. Turning my phone off and resetting it have no impact, but restoring it to factory settings alleviated it for 24 hours. The problem still persists and I have to keep my phone off so it doesn't make any unwanted outgoing calls. Do you have any information about this or suggestions to fix it? Also, I do not have Apple Care and cannot call Apple Technical Support. I have not yet gone to the Apple Store, but will do so if I cannot find an answer online. I've attached a video of my iPhone launching voice control, and as you can see I am not pressing the home button. |
