Inspired by Vimeo user Jan van der Meer who setup the Steadicam JR with a Nokia n8 and Emm from Cheesycam.com who modified a Steadicam Smoothee for flying a dslr I modified my original Steadicam JR to fly my iPhone 4s. In my previous video(vimeo.com/41643606) I showed the first setup but it was too light. Now i added a metal plate of approx 590 grams which was enough to get my JR balanced. Drop time a bit more than 1 second and a little bottom heavy which is needed. (see also vimeo.com/17618357 from Cheesycam). As with all steadicams you need to practice a long time to master the art of flying. |
