I woke up early this morning and decided to go down to the beach to make a time lapse film of the sunrise from Huntington Beach Pier. I used my iPhone 4S with the olloclip three and one iPhone lens system with the fisheye. I chose to use the Apple camera app in video mode with the plan of using Final Cut Pro X to speed up the video, in video mode the iPhone shoots through the center of the lens and lessens the fisheye field of view. The time lapse was about 90 minutes and I increased the speed by 50x using the Apple Motion OSX app. I think I will try one of the time lapse apps next time as it is much easier but I wanted the controll of chosing the speed in post for this video.
