After that, turn the phone back on and wait for it to boot up. Once the phone boots up plug it into the computer and wait for iTunes to try and activate the phone. Depending on the status of the phone you'll see one of two possible messages: A) If your phone is unlocked you will see a message that the phone failed to activate.
