This week there were some reports suggesting that Apple's next MacBook Pro will have a much thinner design with a Retina display, USB 3.0, Ivy Bridge, NVIDIA Kepler graphics, and Thunderbolt when it arrives this summer. Apple's iMac will also have some similar upgrades with the new Ivy Bridge processors, Kepler graphics, and Retina display, but the iMac should keep the same design. Apple's next iPhone however should have a redesign that brings a new larger 4-inch display. Both The Wall Street Journal and Reuters are reporting that the iPhone 5 will have the larger display to compete with larger Android smartphones. Microsoft's Windows 8 Pro operating system should cost $15 if you are upgrading from Windows 7 Home Basic or better. Buffalo announced the new WZR-D1800H which is the very first 802.11ac router that brings speeds that are greater than 1Gbps just like most wired connections right now. AMD announced their Trinity APUs which aim to replace their old Llano processors. The new chips use the 32nm manufacturing process, offer better performance, and offer 12 hours of battery life. Instead of releasing just one Nexus device this fall Google might be planning to launch up to five Nexus phones made by different Android OEMs like Samsung, Motorola, and HTC.
