www.carlkwan.com In this video, I test out the Edutige EIM-002 microphone and ETG-001 3 pole adapter. The EIM-002 has an elbow so you can have it pointed at you. But it's made for Apple products like the iPhone, so it has a 4 pole connector. To make it work with the Kodak Zi8, you need the 3 pole adapter. Anyway, I'm also using a wide angle lens I got from USB Fever. To shoot this, I moved the landscape slider on the Zi8 to just before the macro symbol appears on the screen. I also set the audio input to the lowest level on the Zi8 because the EIM-002 is very sensitive. To be honest, I should have set it higher because I needed to boost the volume in editing. Otherwise, I only added the fading in/out and no other editing was done. Overall, I'm really impressed with the picture quality and sound. What do you think? |
