Dianthus flowers blooming over a 7 day period. I love the spiral unwinding of the petals during blooming and the jolly waving motion of the bloomed petals as if they are floating in the wind (whereas in fact there is zero air disturbance where these flowers are blooming). Tried to capture the subtle color change in the mature flower but guess not as successful. Images taken every 5 minutes and played back at 24 frames per second.
