Today, Subatomic Studios release the sequel to this game titled Fieldrunners 2. As most of you may know, the point of the game is to go through waves of soldiers coming in from the left, and making sure they don't get into your base to the right. You do this by eliminating them with your armada that you build by gaining money killing the enemies. You can also upgrade your towers for harder damage. Fieldrunners 2 has hours of gameplay packed into it. With a new system allowing customizable loadouts before every level. Within these menus you can select the towers you want to be able to build and select special weapons such as land mines and freeze bombs. There are 20 different towers to unlock and several special weapons. The game also has an airstike meter, which fills up when you get through a round without letting any enemies get through. Overall, there are 20 levels spanned throughout 4 different locations; Hometown, Grasslands, Drylands, and Lavaflow. Each of these locations has its own theme and crazy new levels. You will also need to survive through different types of levels in each location. Levels you will encounter are Time Trial, Sudden Death, and other Puzzle-types.
