If you have an older generation iDevice like the iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 there is a possibility that iOS 6+ will slow your device down so saving your SHSH blobs now will give you the ability to downgrade back to iOS 5.1.1 either for the speed improvement or the ability to jailbreak your device since there isn't a current jailbreak for iOS 6 yet as of 9/10/2012. It's always nice to have the SHSH blob saved just in case. |
