I had my cracked screen replaced by a guy in phone repair shop in London Camberwell. Totally regret it now. Few days later the wifi switch on button greyed out so couldnt even search for available wifi networks to connect to. I figured my wifi antenna needed replacing. so i ordered a new one and changed it myself. double and triple checking the connections. as i did this i remembered watching the repair guy struggle to place one piece. and i have not been able to figure its proper location. i beleive that this piece is somehow involved with enabling wifi connection. the video shows this piece. any suggestions on where it goes would be very much appreciated. PS i would try to take it back to the shop but i am not able to go back to london for a few weeks and i do not want to go to the apple store as i am out of my warranty period and minimum repair costs are £120. |
