Apple Maps isn't so bad, if you're in the right area, but plenty of the app's users have sought out alternatives in the App Store.Without a current untethered Jailbreak for iOS 6, or even a tethered one for most devices like the iPhone 5, users can use this simple trick to convince Siri that that want to use Google Maps and not Apple Maps. After opening Siri and asking for directions, add the word "transit" somewhere into your sentence. For example, when asking for directions to Las Vegas, instead of saying "give me directions to Las Vegas", tell Siri "give me transit directions to Las Vegas" or "give me directions to Las Vegas transit". This will make Siri open up iOS 6 Apple Maps for a brief second and bring you to a menu where you can choose which maps application you would like to use. While this adds an extra step to getting directions, it is only a single tap and you have your directions using Siri on Google Maps.
