IHS Donates Nearly $11 Million in IHS Kingdom Geoscience Software, Training and Services to Texas A&M University

IHS Inc. (NYSE: IHS), a leading global source of critical information and insight, today announced it has donated $10.9 million in the form of its industry-leading IHS Kingdom® geoscience software licenses, training and supporting services to the Dwight Look College of Engineering at Texas A&M University in College Station. The donation will enable the university’s undergraduate and graduate students, as well as its geoscience and engineering faculty, to have access to the latest software technology for oil and gas geoscience interpretation and industry research.
