Billboard’s albums chart shakeup to include streaming music for rankings

Billboard will soon begin to use Nielsen SoundScan's streaming data and download numbers of individual tracks to rank the top albums on its long-standing Billboard 200 chart

A spokesperson for SoundScan confirmed the major changes to Mashable on Wednesday.
