Safari blocks content on some non-standard ports

Website administrators may notice that Safari will block requests for HTTP, HTTPS and other content on some nonstandard ports. Requests involving invalid port numbers (for example, port 0 or port numbers at or above 49152) will also be blocked. When this happens, you may see the message "Not allowed to use restricted network port."
