Stock up, because Apple isn’t making them anymore. Apple recently discontinued its super-small audio player along with the iPod nano, leaving the iPod touch as the last iPod standing.
The iPod shuffle was originally introduced in 2005, and it seemed like an odd product because it had no screen. It had just a set of player controls set in a circular button ring. But it caught on and lived a long life in Apple’s product lineup.
