Apple releases security update for iOS 12, macOS Mojave, High Sierra, and Sierra

Apple on Thursday released a security update for iOS 12 and macOS Mojave, High Sierra and Sierra. According to the release notes for the Mac and iOS, the update is described as follows:

Impact: A remote attacker may be able to cause unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution

Description: An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved input validation.
