this is an untethered jailbreak for the iphone 4 version 5.0.1. For 4.2.1 it's the same exact process, except instead of installing 0.9.10b1, you use rc6.1 links: redsnow download - www.redsn0w.us use 0.9.10b1 for iOS 5.0.1
