Steadicam Smoothee with and iPhone 4s and Olloclip 3-in-1 Lens

	Steadicam Smoothee with and iPhone 4s and Olloclip 3-in-1 Lens I wanted to test my new Steadicam/Olloclip combo so I chose the rough terrain of the Mt. Pisgah Trail off the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. Each device is great on its own. Together they are fantastic. Even with rocky, uneven terrain, the Steadicam Smoothee allowed me to capture footage that would have been otherwise unattainable without pounds of gear. Because the Olloclip slides right on and I am able to pre-balance the phone to the Smoothee, I was able mount, fine balance and shoot in less than 2 minutes. Its light weight allowed me to shoot continuously for more than 10 minutes without getting tired. On the negative side, this device does not work well in windy conditions as you will see when we get on top of the mountain. The Olloclip is wide, fish eye and macro lens in one small unit that slides snugly over your phone. It's easy to apply and really improves the quality of the video, especially in close spaces.
