This is how you setup your iOS devices to share calendars and reminders. How to share a Calendar and Reminders list with 2 or more iOS devices while still having your own iTunes/Apple ID. In this video, there are a total of 3 Apple ID's being used. I have one for my iPhone and then my wife has one for her iPhone and then I created a 3rd Apple ID that we "share" on the 2 iPhones to give us the ability to do what I show in the video. I still have the option to put things in my calendars and reminders without sharing it. For the 3rd Apple ID that you want to share, follow the directions below to set it up. Step 1. Create an additional email address in Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc. Step 2. Go to "appleid.apple.com" Click on "Create Apple ID" and register the new email that you just created as an Apple ID. Step 3. Once the new Apple ID has been created, on the iPhone go to Settings Mail, Contacts, Calendars Add Account... iCloud Then type in the new Apple ID that you created. Step 4. Hit "Next" Step 5. Select the items that you want to share between the devices. *I would only recommend sharing the CALENDARS and the REMINDERS. If you choose the others it can add a bunch of stuff that you may not want like contacts and notes. Step 6. Follow steps 3, 4, and 5 on the other devices and enter the same Apple ID that you just created. Enjoy! |
