Apple Shoots Above $500 Billion Market Cap – Wall Street Journal

As we noted last night, Apple is only the sixth company ever with a market cap above the half-trillion mark. Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Intel, GE and Exxon Mobil are the others in this exclusive club. Apple shares are up about 1.5% in early trading.
