So Apple has been sending out SL boxes to people to encourage them to upgrade to Lion to move from iCloud to MobileMe. I still haven't moved my account, so I signed up for the box (yes, it's a separate account, it's not my regular iTunes + iCloud account) and got it today. So I did effectively con Apple out of SL because I already have had it since 2009 and I'm now on Lion getting read to move to Mountain Lion this summer. So now I have a backup Snow Leopard disc. Yay, freebies! |
