Step 1: download redsn0w Step 2: download a device firmware Step 3: Open redsn0w if you are running it in Windows be sure to (RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR) Step 4: Go into extra's on the redsn0w application and click (Select IPSW) then remember where you saved the firmware and open it. Step 5: Redsn0w will recognise the firmware Step 6: Click the jailbreak button, turn your device off then click next. Step 7: Hold sleep button for 3 seconds, keep hold of the sleep button but then press the home button to for ten seconds, take your finger off the sleep button and hold the home button for 15 seconds. If you are doing a tethered jailbreak when you turn off your device then turn it back on go into extra's then click just boot the you will have to go through the process of holding the buttons.
