Demonstration of hypARlocal. Hyperlocal geolocated content from Wake Green Park

@talkaboutlocal launched the first public beta of HypARlocal on the Layar augmented reality app a few days ago. To get the HypARlocal 'layer' you first need to install the Layar app on your iPhone or Android handset, links to the app are here www.layar.com once you have installed the app, just search for HypARlocal and you should see this screen. Background: HypARlocal is a small Nesta & Nominet Trust funded research project that Talk About Local are running. The project is looking at taking geolocated content from Hyperlocal blogs and serving the content to users based on their location. The initial project is going to be focussing on WordPress blogs, both hosted (.com) and self hosted (.org) flavours. We are planning to work with roughly 10 -- 15 Hyperlocal sites over the next few months. The initial stage is getting Hyperlocal sites signed up and showing them how to start geolocating their content, if they aren't already.
