Taking a screenshot is great for when you want to save something you're looking at but might not have access to later (like directions in case you lose reception) or sharing funny conversations (texts from last night, anyone?). The way you take a screenshot on the iPhone is to press and hold the home button and then press the power button right after. This should cause the iPhone to make a little animation and shutter sound letting you know you captured the screenshot. The shot will automatically be added to your photo gallery.
