It’s Definite. iPhone 5 Launches September 12

Apple Tuesday sent out invitations to what is assumed to be its thinner-than-ever iPhone 5 announcement on Wednesday September 12. The event will start at 10am Pacific time at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Folks who track Apple product announcements like they were expecting the second coming have given up on the notion that Apple will unveil iPhone 5 and the purported iPad mini at the same time. iPhone 5 is now expected to be a solo act with the iPad mini given its own stage in sometime October. That way the attention will be undiluted. Googlerola has a mobile announcement set for Wednesday September 5 to be followed by Nokia and Amazon.
