Apple Sics Korean Regulator on Samsung

The Korean Fair Trade Commission (FTC) Thursday said it was investigating a complaint made by Apple that Samsung is abusing its dominance in third-generation wireless technology. The investigation mirrors a similar one opened in January by the European Commission, which is also investigating Motorola Mobility for the same thing. Both companies are demanding egregiously high fees from Apple to license the standards-essential patents they pledged to offer on fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms.
