Quicktip: Remove YouTube from the Home Screen

It's Friday which means it's time for TJ's Quicktip! Each week I will show you a tip or trick within Mac OS X or iOS, this week I show you how to remove YouTube from your iOS device. Go into Settings - General - Restrictions and tap on Enable Restrictions, enter a Passcode when prompted. In the list of available options you should see YouTube which will be set to On, change this to Off. When you go back to the Home Screen you'll see that the YouTube app has now been removed. Any links that you now click on in Safari or any other app will no longer take you to the YouTube app to view a video. If you want to get the YouTube app back then simply go back into Restrictions and turn YouTube back On, it will be added back to the Home Screen. :: Giveaways :: Click the link below to go to my FaceBook page, near the top next to my Like count is a Giveaways page.
