Wordpress is so important because it serves as the home for your podcast on the Internet. You see, a podcast is nothing more than a collection of audio files on the Internet and Wordpress is the perfect place to host those files. Wordpress is one of the most widely used blogging platofrms and content management systems used today. It is extremely popular. Not only does is allow you to blog, but with the right plugins you can do amazing things, like host and play podcast audio files.
