Use the FaceTime camera to take photos and video.
In addition to the rear iSight camera on your iPhone, you can use the front-facing FaceTime camera to take photos and video. In Camera, tap to switch between cameras.
Take a video.
In Camera, swipe to the Video mode. Tap the red circle or press either volume button to start recording. Tap it again to pause or stop. You can tap the white circle to take a still photo while recording.
Zoom in or out.
Use your fingers to pinch the screen to zoom in or out. You can then also use the slider or your fingers to zoom.
Quickly view the photo you just took.
Tap the thumbnail on the lower left after taking a photo to view it immediately.
